Sales Representative – Outside

American Plumbing, Heating and Solar is an industry leader looking for a highly motivated individual to grow business. Competitive pay, benefits and advancement opportunities are just some of the perks at this family-owned business.
Outside Sales Representatives are responsible to prospect and generate new commercial business.  This position requires cold calling on commercial accounts in the field to generate new permanent sales.  The hours and level of responsibility will vary.

Propose customer solutions that are compliant with appropriate local, state and federal regulations.
Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of APHS’ services and pricing structure.
Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business.
Determine customer needs and propose appropriate service needs.
Meet or exceed the new business sales goals.
Complete scheduled and cold call prospecting activities to establish first and follow up appointments with customer decision makers.
Prepare and deliver sales proposals/presentations and follow up with key decision makers.
Complete required reports and other paperwork in a timely manner and in accordance with Company policy.
Regularly meet with Marketing Manager to review weekly sales activities, progress on goals, and status of prospective customers.
Other duties, as assigned.
Must present and communicate in a professional manner.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be organized with good time management skills.
Possess proven analytical/problem solving solutions for the customer and the company.
Computer proficiency in Windows and Microsoft applications and CRM database.
Previous cold calling experience.
Experience in developing and executing sales strategies.
Possess strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals.
Plumbing industry experience, a plus.
Must have reliable transportation.
Additional skills may be required to perform additional task(s) specific to work location, department or line of business.
Legally eligible to work in the United States.
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field preferred.
Minimum 2 years outside business-to-business sales with a proven track record of success.
One year of experience in a customer-facing sales role (business to business).
Good Driving record, able to meet APHS driving qualifications.
Must be able to read and speak the English language well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals, and training.

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse manager with a great attitude and a passion to help people! We are looking for an exceptional warehouse manager to help us achieve our operating plan. As a warehouse manager, you will work as part of a dynamic and passionate team to ensure that appropriate minimum and maximum stock levels are maintained. You will manage and maintain a safe, impeccable and accountable workplace.

Must be willing to pursue, develop and participate in continuing education.

Follow the outline of company policies and procedures.

Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff and coworkers.

Coordinate deliveries to and from job sites.

Verify counts and prices on shipments.

Maintain computerized purchase order system.

Assist in product and material research for technicians.

Keep warehouse immaculate.

Forklift experience.

Highly organized.

Applicants must have a current driver license and a good driving record as they will be driving company vehicle to customer’s homes and businesses.

Outgoing, professional, clean cut, aggressive, and drug-free.

Participate in all required staff meetings and trainings.

Help maintain and promote a high company moral, professional, and friendly work environment.

Work hard, smart and efficiently.

Typical work week is eight to ten-hour workdays three to five days per week with occasional weekend work, as well as early and/or late weekday meetings with customers, vendors and staff personnel as needed.
